It was initially rumored that the Tesla Model Y would be the focus of the upcoming Gigafactory Berlin, bringing the latest battery with the 4,680 power cells, which are known to be a fan-awaited venture. Gigafactories are a huge help in the production and parts of the clean energy company’s electric vehicle components, as well as smart home accessories and products. What gives them an advantage is that this is a facility that also focuses on research and development, something that would evaluate the product that they have.

That being said, a supposed fourth gigafactory location is coming to another country, which would help Tesla to further achieve volume production and development of its cars.

What sets gigafactories apart is that Tesla makes sure these factories are big and can accommodate massive vehicle orders.
